Juan Cuadrado could seal a permanent transfer to Juventus as early as this weekend, according to reports.
The agent of the Columbian star is set to hold talks with Juventus this weekend regarding a permanent transfer for his client to the Italian club.
According to ESPN, Cuadrado’s strong start with Juventus this season has caught the eyes of Manager Massimo Alegri which could make a deal likely to happen; particularly as Chelsea are ready to sell the player cheaper than the amount they paid Fiorentina for his services.
The Columbian winger struggled for form at Chelsea and he failed to impress Jose Mourinho in his time at West London. It looks like his time at West London is finally over as his agent, Alessandro Lucci will try to negotiate his exit as soon as possible.
Juventus didn’t have a clause in Cuadrado’s loan contract that will enable them sign him permanently, but talks with his agent will ensure that the transfer is possible and is in place before January.
Cuadrado scored his first goal for Juventus last weekend in injury time against the Old lady’s local rivals Torino. Cuadrado failed to score a goal for Chelsea in 13 appearances for the club.
