Chelsea defender Gary Cahill cannot explain why his team is performing so badly. The defender who was part of the team that lost at West Ham and Liverpool cannot say why his team is having their worst start to the season.
The defender told Mail on Sunday: “Maybe in the first couple of games you think: ‘Well this is going to turn. This isn’t going to carry on, because we don’t do this.’
“It’s almost a kind of arrogance. But it’s easier to expect things to change than it is to make things change. We need to work to make it turn. We need to make it happen,”
Chelsea are currently experiencing their worst start to the season after losing 6 league games this season while winning just 3 of their games so far.
Gary Cahill joined Chelsea in 2012 from Bolton Wanderers and has made 109 league appearances for the West London side scoring 7 goals.
The defender who has publicly declared his support for club Manager Jose Mourinho will be hoping his team gets back to winning ways when they face Dynamo Kiev in midweek’s Champions League return leg clash.
