Manchester United take a short bus trip to Selhurst Park to take on Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace side.
Louis van Gaal made just one alteration for the clash with Man City, as Antonio Valencia replaced summer signing Matteo Darmian at right-back.
Valencia suffered a foot injury during the game, and was forced to withdraw late on in the second half.
The Ecuadorian subsequently missed the midweek Capital One cup exit to Middlesbrough and remains sidelined, with Darmian looking set to return. Elsewhere at the back, Phil Jones is expected to continue alongside Chris Smalling in central defence, while Marcos Rojo will hope to retain left-back duties ahead of Daley Blind.
Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger appear to be the favoured central midfield duo and will hope to continue in the engine room at Selhurst Park, though Michael Carrick offers an alternative option.
Further forward, Memphis Depay could be set to miss out after picking up a midweek knock, with Anthony Martial likely to be fielded wide left and Wayne Rooney up top.
Juan Mata should retain his place on the right of the attack, while Jesse Lingard and the fit-again Ashley Young present alternative options out wide.
Luke Shaw and Paddy McNair remain on the sidelines through injury, while youngster James Wilson is also likely to miss out being forced off with a knock in midweek.
Having said this, here is how LVG is expected to line-up his side against the Eagles.
