Crystal Palace Welcome Manchester United to Selhurst Park this Saturday for Premier League’s evening kick-off.
Alan Pardew has a number of injury concerns as the Eagles prepare for the visit of Man United this weekend.
At the back, Pape Souare will hope to return after missing the defeat to Leicester with a minor knock. This should see Adrian Mariappa drop out of the side, with Martin Kelly returning at right-back. Joel Ward is also closing in on a return after injury and he could be back in contention to reclaim the right-back role ahead of Kelly. Elsewhere at the back, Damien Delaney would seem likely to slot into central defence at the expense of Brede Hangeland after the Norwegian’s error in the defeat to Leicester.
Further forward, Yohan Cabaye (knock) remains a doubt after missing the midweek Capital One cup defeat at Man City, though Jason Puncheon(illness) and James McArthur (personal reasons) are both back in contention.
The likes of Mile Jedinak and Joe Ledley will be on standby to deputise if the Frenchman fails to recover in time.
Pardew will also be boosted by the return of Dwight Gayle in attack, with the forward having served out a one-match suspension last weekend. Gayle could replace Frazier Campbell in attack, while Connor Wickham and Marouane Chamakh remain sidelined by injury.
Wayne Hennessey will hope to continue between the sticks and strengthen his case for the first-choice keeper role at the expense of Julian Speroni.
Having said this, here is how Pardew is expected to line-up his side against United.
