Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid Forward Antoinne Greizmann. The West London club is set to battle Manchester United for the Signing of the France international.
Greizmann joined Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2014 after a wonderful season at Real Sociedad. The forward is a pacy attacker with a good goal scoring record, he plays as a centre forward or any of the three positions behind the centre forward.
It is not the first time that the blues have been linked with the forward, as it was reported that Chelsea were ready to offer about €40 million to sign the player.
Mourinho reportedly stated last summer that the player was not in his plans to improve his team while the player publicly declared that he was happy at Vincente Calderon, a deal never materialized as Atletico didn’t want to entertain any offer for the 24 year old.
AS reports that Chelsea are preparing a January transfer move to sign the forward as Eden Hazard struggles for form and with the Belgian being linked to Real Madrid and other European giants, Greizmann has been earmarked as an ideal replacement for the Blues current number 10 and Mourinho has personally asked Roman Abramovich to prepare a mega bid to lure the pacy forward to England.
Greizmann has scored 26 goals in 45 league appearances for the La liga side since joining in 2014.
