Stoke City play host to fellow Premier League side Chelsea on Tuesday night for the fourth round tie of the Capital One Cup.
The Britannia Stadium will welcome a Chelsea side seriously low in confidence having enduring their worst start to a season for their entire history, and coming off the back of a 2-1 defeat to West Ham over the weekend.
Stoke however, will go into the game also on the back of a 2-0 home defeat over the weekend to Watford. Although the Potters have won three of their previous games, so they would be hoping to cause an upset in the match an unsettled Chelsea side.
Hughes will be sweating on the fitness of Geoff Cameron, who came off in the ninth minute of Stoke’s game with Watford with a muscular injury.
Ryan Shawcross, who underwent back surgery in August, is unlikely to be fit enough to play against Chelsea but the Stoke captain could make the substitutes’ bench.
Having said this, here is how Hughes is expected to line-up his side against Chelsea.
