Chelsea slumped to a 2-0 defeat at Boleyn Ground today against West Ham in a fiercely fought London derby

Begovic: 6

The Bosnian Conceded two goals today but both were hardly his fault as they were defensive errors. However, he had one shaky moment in the second half when Terry passed the ball to him.

Zouma: 5.5

The defender had a better game compared to his performance on Wednesday in Ukraine. He was reliable defensively but offered nothing forward. He had an improved game today.

Azpilicueta: 5

The Spaniard didn’t have a good game according to his standard. He was beaten on more than one occasion by West Ham winger and was easily dominated by Andy Carroll as the English man headed home the second goal of the day.

Cahill: 7

The English man scored the blues only goal today, had a disciplined game. He took his goal well.

John Terry: 6

Generally solid at the back, had a good game but West Ham capitalized on his half clearance to score their second goal of the game.

Ramires: 5

The Brazilian didn’t offer the defense enough protection today, he did nothing of note before he was withdrawn. Had a poor game compared to his previous performances.

Matic: 4.5 (FoTM)

The Serbian picked up two yellow cards in the first half. The first as he stopped a West Ham counter attack, while the second for a reckless barge into Sakho.

Fabregas: 5.5

The Spaniard had his goal disallowed in the first half as it was ruled out for offside. He was withdrawn at halftime having been booked at the aftermath of Matic’s red card.

Willian: 7 (MoTM)

The Brazilian caused havoc from his set piece; he registered an assist for Cahill’s goal. He was Chelsea’s best player on the pitch.

 Hazard: 5 (FoTM)

The Belgian could not grow into the game today; he struggled to impose himself on the pitch and often lost the ball. He also rarely helped the team at the back. Very poor performance in general and another flop of the match.

Costa: 6

The striker was hard working throughout the game; bullied defenders and really gave all for his team.

Baba Rahman: N/A

Had little time to make an impact.

Mikel: 5

Replaced Fabregas at half time, he kept everything simple at the middle of the pitch although picked up a yellow card in the late stages of the game.

Falcao: 5

Didn’t offer anything much in attack after his team went behind.
