Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has responded to Marc Wilmots for advising Eden Hazard to switch the West London club to join Real Madrid.
Hazard won the PFA and FWA player of the year award last season after a superb season with the blues as Jose Mourinho’s side went on to win the league, although the Belgian is struggling to replicate his last season’s form.
The 24 year old featured in the blues 2 -1 defeat at the hands of West Ham but couldn’t do anything to help his team overcome their neighbors from West London.
The Express Sports reports during the week that Wilmots wants the Belgian to move to Spain to join Real Madrid. Wilmots believe the Belgian will enjoy more freedom on the pitch if he moves to the Spanish Capital and a lighter schedule so as to avoid the player being Fatigued when the European championship comes up later in 2016.
The comment did not go down too well with Jose Mourinho who responded saying; “The national team is the national team and the coach is the coach.”
“When Hazard is in the national team I don’t open my mouth. Ever. But some people don’t have the same ethics and comment when the players are at the club.”
The Belgian is yet to score a goal for Chelsea this season and was recently criticized by the Portuguese after Chelsea’s win over Aston Villa.
