The agent of former Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes has confirmed that his client will be leaving Manchester United in the January transfer window.
Earlier in the season, Red Devil’s Gaffer Louis van Gaal said that Valdes refused to play for the reserves with the goalkeeper denying such claims by uploading pictures of him keeping for the reserves; however, Van Gaal later told Valdes that he has no future with the Red Devils.
With the arrival of Argentine shot stopper Sergio Romero, Valdes has dropped further in the pecking order.
Valencia and Malaga have tried to lure the goalkeeper back to La Liga but Valdes has ruled out a return to Spain.
Newcastle United are the latest team jostling for the goalkeepers signature due to season ending injury to their Dutch international Tim Krul but Valdes’ agent Gines Carvajal has said that a move has not been organised yet for him, but his client will leave Old Trafford in January.Follow Football News Arena on Facebook and Twitter for the latest transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from across the major Leagues in Europe and around the World.
