Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez is monitoring Jose Mourinho’s situation at Chelsea, according to reports.
Mourinho’s future at Chelsea is clouded as the Portuguese tactician is battling to lift his team after a poor start to the season.
Don Balon reports that Perez is keeping close tabs on the former Madrid boss situation in London and has made initial contacts with Mourinho’s camp about the prospect of reunion.
Real Madrid sacked former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti last season after the Italian failed to win a silverware last season despite winning the Madrid club their 10th Champions league trophy the season before.
Madrid appointed another boss with Chelsea past, Rafael Benitez last summer and Perez has major concerns about the club’s new manager who is struggling to maintain the support of the dressing room and also struggling to keep the media onside.
Mourinho left Madrid in 2013 to Join Chelsea as the Portuguese had a troublesome last season in Madrid, having issues with club captain Iker Casilas, Mourinho also had a poor relationship with the Madrid media and the Real locker room.
His Personal relationship with Florentino Perez is still very good and the Madrid Supremo is open to the idea of Mourinho returning to the club.
