Chelsea are keen to sign Shakhtar Donetsk star Alex Teixeira. The blues are said to be tracking the Brazilian attacking midfielder, according to reports.
Sources in Ukraine claims that Jose Mourinho’s side have already made enquiries for Teixeira ahead of the winter transfer window. Jose Mourinho is keen on improving his attacking midfield and has been advised by the club’s scout to consider the 25 year old.
Jose Mourinho is reportedly said to have lost faith in Brazil international Oscar and he is considering replacing the blues number 8. Oscar was linked with a move to Juventus last summer but the player had no intention of leaving West London.
It has been reported that Jose Mourinho has been impressed by Spanish international Isco and is now considering a move for Teixera. Chelsea signed Former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Willian from Anzhi Machaklacha in 2013, Willian is a close friend of Alex Teixeira and the blues are keen to re-unite both friends.
Tribal football reports that Alex Teixeira would be open to reuniting with Willian at Chelsea, should the blues firm up their interest.
Teixeira has made 142 appearances and scoring 61 goals for Shakhtar Donetsk since joining the club in 2009.
