Jose Mourinho’s side will take on Dynamo kiev on Tuesday. We take a look at four things the blues must do to beat to beat the Ukrainian side.
Return Hazard to the starting lineup:
Jose Mourinho dropped the Belgian from his starting lineup against Aston Villa and warned after the match that the Belgian will not return until he learns how to defend. Jose must return Eden Hazard back to his starting xi if he really wants to win with ease. The Belgian is arguably the most talented player in the Chelsea squad and dropping the player might back fire. Hazard is a player whom on his day can single handedly unlock any defense. There is no justification benching him if he is fit and in form.
Chelsea must be solid defensively:
The blues have conceded 17 goals in the league this season and most of these goals have been characterized with defensive errors, the blues must cut out all individual errors and must keep things tight at the back.
Jose Mourinho’s side must be ruthless in attack:
The blues must be efficient in front of goal. The blues are low in confidence and killing teams off early will do the blues a lot of good. Chelsea must not give their opponent the opportunity to get back into the game if they eventually take the lead.
Diego Cost must bring is EPL form to the UCL:
The striker hasn’t scored a goal for the blues in the Uefa Champions League. The striker scored 19 league goals for the blues last season and has scored 2 goals already this season. The striker must open his account for the blues if they are to have an easy ride in Ukraine.Follow Football News Arena on Facebook and Twitter for the latest transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from across the major Leagues in Europe and around the World.
