Chelsea duo Pedro and Loic Remy has been ruled out of the Blues Champions league tie against Dynamo Kiev due to Injury. The duo did not travel with the squad to Ukraine for Chelsea’s must win Champions League clash.
The injury to Pedro and Remy is said to be minor injuries and the blues Manager didn’t not want to take any risk of aggravating it and simply left the players back in London to recover.
Jose Mourinho in his press conference revealed :
“They have little injuries, both. Nothing
really important, but not possible for tomorrow. Big risk for tomorrow. So no risk.
“We have other options. We have other players. Especially because they are in positions where we really have other options. So no risk.”
The news was also reported by Chelsea official twitter account after Jose made the comments at his press conference. A statement of the club’s official twitter account reads:

The duo Join Chelsea first choice goalie Thibaut Courtois who is out until december due to a serious Knee injury and Branislav Ivanovic who sustained an harmstring injury in Serbia’s Euro 2016 qualifier match and is also ruled out of the game in Ukraine.
The injury to Loic Remy and Pedro comes as a surprise considering that both featured in the blues 2-0 win against Aston Villa on sunday with Pedro playing over 80minutes of that game before being replaced my Eden Hazard and Remy replacing Willian at stoppage time.
Chelsea’s team that travelled to Ukraine includes : Begovic, Ivanovic, Fabregas, Zouma, Rahman, Ramires, Oscar, Falcao, Hazard, Mikel, Traore, Kenedy Costa, Matic, Willian, Cahill, Terry, Blackman, Azpilicueta, Loftus-Cheek, Collins, Aina.
