Chelsea are set to approach Spanish giants Real Madrid over a potential deal for Isco, the blues boss Jose Mourinho was at the Euro 2016 qualifier between Spain and Ukraine on Monday night, causing speculation that he was scouting Ukraine winger Andriy Yarmolenko.

But Marca reports that the 54 year old was impressed by Real Madrid midfielder Isco. It’s claimed that Jose Mourinho’s club will make an inquiry for the Spaniard with the Chelsea hierarchy keen to know how much the midfielder would cost.

The midfielder is finding life at Madrid a bit difficult after seeing his playing time drastically reduced by new manager Rafael Benitez.

The Spaniard is behind Toni kroos, Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Luka Modric and summer signing Mateo Kovacic. Isco Joined Real Madrid in 2013 after an impressive season with Malaga.

The 23 year old can play anywhere behind the striker or even in a deeper role, he has the ability to pick out a pass, ghost past opponents and has a good accuracy for long range shot. His ability to read the game so well and his ability to find space leaves much to be desired of the midfielder.

The probable arrival of the Spaniard might be the end of Oscar who has come under criticism for is inconsistent performances. The midfielder has scored 12 goals in 73 appearances for the Spanish giants.
