Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is keen on Belgian sensation Youri Tielemans.
The Daily Mail reports that Manchester United are keen to secure a deal for the young midfielder who currently plies his trade for Anderlecht in Belgian Pro Ligue.
The 18 years old has recently been scouted by a host of big clubs including Barcelona, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund; and is regarded as the next big thing out of Belgium.
He can play as a holding midfielder or a little bit higher up the pitch.
The young midfielder who made his Champions League debut at age 16 also has an eye for goal and is seen by van Gaal as a long term replacement for Carrick and Schweinstiger both of whom are approaching the twilight of their careers.
Chelsea who are known for acquiring the best young talents around the globe are keeping tabs on the young midfielder and will move for the player when he shows interest in leaving the Belgian side.
Tielemans have made 74 appearances scoring 10 goals since he made his debut for the Belgian club in 2013.
He was part of the team that won the Belgian Pro League in the 2013-2014 season as well as the Belgian Super Cup in 2013 and 2014.
