Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller has revealed he was tempted with a huge wage by Premier League clubs.
Muller was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford and Arsenal over the summer and the Club’s CEO Karl-Heinz Remmenigge stopped offers from different Premier league clubs including Manchester United.
LVG was interested in reuniting with the 25-year-old forward who has worked with during his time with the Bundesliga giants.
Muller has admitted he was also tempted to making the switch to the Premier League but he decided to extend his stay at Bayern having four years to fun still on his contract.
“in the end, we should not forget that playing football is our job,” Muller admitted to Welt Am Sonntag.
“so people should accept that wages will always play a role in a players decision making of course, the wages that are being paid in the premier league are very tempting.”
