Chelsea and Man city are set to battle it out for Benfica’s attacking midfielder Victor Andrade according to the mirror.
The Brazilian Joined Benfica from Santos in July 2014 and is currently attracting interest from EPL giants Chelsea and Manchester City.
Andrade spent last season in Benfica’s youth team featuring 35 times and scoring 5 goals.
Recently promoted to Benfica’s senior team, the 21-year-old winger is regarded as one of the best prospects in World football and he is valued at about £25million.
Chelsea are said to be interested in bringing the young South American over to West London, but Manuel Pelligrini’s side are said to be favourite to Land the skillful attacking midfielder who can play in a variety of attacking positions.
The blues are keen on the young attacker who would give Jose Mourinho additional attacking options as he looks to revive his squad after their poor start to the season. Victor Andrade is said to be keen to experience life in the EPL but Benfica are not willing to let him leave.
Barcelona were said to have first option on the South American before he moved to Portugal which they acquired as part of the Neymar’s deal. Santos will be entitled to a 3% sell-on clause if Andrade is to leave Benfica to England.
