Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is considering recalling head physio Jon Fearn back to the bench for his side’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
The club physio who was a regular member of the clubs match-day medical team last season was criticized by the Chelsea manager after the Blues opening day draw with Swansea City at Stamford Bridge in August.
Fearn alongside Club’s doctor Eva Carneiro were demoted from first team duties as a result and while Caneiro has since left the Club, Fearn has been working for the club in a reduced capacity.
Sportsmail understands that the Chelsea boss is ready to bring back Fearn from his 2months exile as the club looks to get their season back on track after a disastrous start to the 2015-2016 season.
Mourinho, whose side has collected just 8 points from their opening 8 games of the season publicly accused Fearn and Caneiro of being ‘impulsive and naïve’ after they went on to the pitch to treat Eden Hazard during the 2-2 draw against Swansea, leaving the Blues temporarily with 9 players on the pitch.
It is understood that Carneiro is likely to take legal action after taking advice from top lawyers and will argue that the referee Michael Oliver clearly called her onto the pitch to treat Hazard.
Chelsea are yet to make any official announcement regarding Caneiro and it is understood the club is unlikely to allow the case go to court.
