Manchester United are reportedly set to make a move for Lazio’s wing wizard, Felipe Anderson, according to reports.
The Red Devil boss, Louis Van Gaal has insisted that he needs to inject more pace and creativity into his attack and he has identified Anderson as the player to offer the missing link to United’s blunt attack this season so far.
The reports indicated that Manchester United are willing to bid 45€ Million for the Brazilian in the January transfer to help save their season that looks to be falling apart.
Anderson has been at Lazio since 2013 and is arguably the club’s key player, scoring 10 goals and creating 35 chances last season as Lazio finished third on the Serie.
Anderson can operate on the left or right hand side of the wing or as a supporting striker, making him the kind of player United needs at the moment.
He is contracted to Lazio till the summer of 2020. United’s lack of goal threat has been evident in their recent form with United scoring just two goals in their last five Premier League games, making the team slide out of the top four and into sixth and are in danger of slipping further down the table.
