Chelsea have joined the race to sign Dinamo Zagreb young attacking midfielder Ante Coric, according to the Telegraph.
According to Spanish publication AS via the Telegraph, Chelsea are hoping to sign the playmaker ahead of Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Coric, 18, has impressed fans and neutrals with his superb performances for Dinamo and has attracted interest from Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Real Madrid have already made a move to sign the midfielder with the Spanish club already in contact with his agent, as per Tribal football.
But reports from the Telegraph claims Chelsea who have watched the player on several occasions are ready to muscle the La liga club for the services of the 18 year old.
The midfielder has a contract with the Croatian club until 2020 and he is reportedly valued at £8m.
But Tribal football claims the number of club’s interested in the player’s services could drive the price higher than his current value.
“His value may rise.
“The greatest from England (Manchester City, Chelsea ), Italy (Inter Milan) want him, also Bayern, Porto and Barcelona …” [Tribal football].
The playmaker made his debut against RNK Split in 2014 and he is currently the highest goal scorer in the Europa league after scoring in the competition when he was 17 years and 157 days old.
