Eredivisie giants Ajax are in advanced talks with Chelsea over the services of Bertrand Traore, according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims Ajax are interested in taking the young winger on loan for the rest of the season and are already deep in negotiations with Chelsea.
The winger was retained in the Blues first team by Jose Mourinho after a superb loan stint at Vitesse Arnhem last season but the winger is yet to break into the Blues first team and have made just three appearances for the West London club since the beginning of the season.
Ajax are now set to give the winger another opportunity to return to Holland where he excelled as a centre forward for Vittesse.
According to the report, the Dutch team have run out of patience with Arsenal’s striker Yaya Sanogo who is yet to score a goal since moving to the Eredivisie on loan and Traore has been earmarked to replace him.
Traore scored 13 goals for Vitesse last season including a brace in Vitesse’s 4-0 win against Ajax in the Dutch Cup.
Traore is highly rated at Chelsea after his impressive displays in the 2013 pre season as a trialist. He officially signed for Chelsea in October 2013 after he was granted a work permit.
