Chelsea are plotting a mouth watering bid for Juventus Star Paul Pogba next summer, according to the Daily Star.
The Blues have been linked with a move for the midfielder since last summer and they are set to renew their interest next summer.
According to Buzzsport via the Daily Mail, Chelsea are planning a squad overhaul next summer and have identified Pogba as one of the big names they will try to lure to Stamford bridge next summer.
The French midfielder was reportedly one of the Blues top target last summer and the Premier league champions tried to lure the Juventus midfielder back to the Premier league. The 22 year old decided against joining the Blues despite all advances, as per the Express.
Chelsea started the season in dismal form and have been linked with a number of centre midfielders this season. The poor form of Cesc Fabregas has made things worse and the club is now set to replace the Spaniard with the Juventus ace.
Chelsea will have to battle it out with Barcelona for the French man’s signature and according to the Daily Star, Barcelona will be Pogba’s first choice but Chelsea will try all they can to sign the midfielder ahead of Barca.
Pogba switched Manchester United for Juventus in 2012 and has made 105 appearances for the Turin club, scoring 23 goals.
