Sacked Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly agreed a deal in principle to take over from Louis Van Gaal as Manchester United manager.
The 52 year old was sacked as Chelsea boss last week and he look set to be the next gaffer at Old Trafford pending the time United hierarchy calls it quit with Dutchman Louis Van Gaal.
Mourinho won the Premier League and the Capital one cup with Chelsea last season but found his tird season with the club difficult, starting with the Eva Carniero incident to falling out with referees, Arsene Wenger and even his players I.e. Diego Costa
United have endured a frustrating season under Louis Van Gaal with the team struggling to score goals, United have failed to win any of their last six games and they lost back to back to newly promoted Bournemouth and Norwich City. The fans have seen enough and are calling for Van Gaal’s dismissal.
According to the Sun, the only decision facing the club is the point at which they decide to sack Van Gaal, as Mourinho’s already agreed in principle to take over at the Theatre of Dreams. United travel to face Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Boxing day; a defeat will most certainly see the Dutchman get the axe, as United would almost certainly be out of the title race.
