Manchester United are preparing a World record fee for Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale, according to the Metro.
The report claims Manchester United are ready to part with a fee of £109.4m in order to bring the former Tottenham winger to Old Trafford.
Manchester United were interested in signing the winger in 2013 before he moved to Real Madrid, however the Red Devils are still interested in signing the 26 year old as they look to bring in a marquee signing next summer. The Red Devil’s chief Ed Woodward has indicated that the club isn’t scared of smashing the world record transfer fee and they could be set to do that as they prepare a bid for Bale.
The Red Devils have been looking at the possibility of signing mega stars like Neymar, Suarez and Ronaldo but the Old Trafford club now believes Bale is the most attainable of all their options and are set to table a world record fee worth over £100m pounds for the Wales international.
Bale has scored 36 La Liga goals in 69 appearances since joining Madrid in 2013.
