Bayern Munich club legend Jean Pierre-Papin is urging Polish international striker Robert Lewandowski to stay with the club and not leave.
German outlet, Bild stated that English Premier League giants; Manchester United are big admires of the prolific striker and are willing to splash out £35 Million to acquire his services.
Lewandowski is one of the best strikers in the modern day football world, with his goal scoring record in recent times worthy of note. Papin was quoted to saying: ‘’I can’t imagine that Bayern Munich would sell their player to a direct rival.’’
Manchester United are seriously in need of a proven striker to give the club a new identity and Robert Lewandowski fits the bill, his solo strike for Bayern Munich Eclipse that of three United leading scorers (Mata-4 goals, Martial-4 goals and Rooney-2 goals).
Lewandowski would save United’s season as he scores one in every 2 attempts on goal, and possesses a better conversion rate than any United attacker.
United are not the only club looking to sign Lewandowski; Real Madrid reserve keen interest in the striker especially with Benzema’s future looking uncertain amidst Sex tape scandal which may land him in jail if found guilty.
