Sportwitness are reporting that Chelsea right back will be returning to West London in short order as he has struggled to make any impact in the Serie A with Carpi.
The newspaper claims the Brazilian is set to leave the Italian outfit when the winter transfer window opens in January.
The Brazilian has made three league appearances for the Serie A new comers.
Since moving to Europe, the 21 year old already has 3 loan spells at Inter Milan, Vitesse Arnhem and Carpi. The Brazilian international also struggled in his loan spell at Inter Milan, Wallace played just 4 matches for the San Siro outfit coming from the bench on three occasions.
However his second stint in the Serie A hasn’t gone well at Carpi. Wallace has struggled to adapt to the demands of the serie A. However, it is reported that FC Porto are monitoring the rightback’s situation and may make a move for him on loan when he returns to Chelsea.
Wallace hasn’t played for the Blues and still can’t feature for them as he is yet to gain a work permit. The Blues have tried to secure a work permit for the 21 year old but they have been turned down on several occasions however, The defender could train with the Blues.
Wallace joined Chelsea from Fluminense in 2013.
The defender had a relatively successful spell at Vitesse Arnhem. He played 22 games for the Eredivisie side, scoring just once.
