Liverpool are reportedly ready to move for Standard Liege goalkeeper Guillaume Hubert in the January transfer window. The Belgium under 21 international is being tracked by number of European clubs after a series of eye catching displays for liege this term.
The 21 years old has 18 months to go on his current deal and Liverpool are looking to replace Simon Mignolet at Anfield. The Reds would fight it out with Swansea to sign the youngster for a fee of around £600,000.
If Jürgen Klopp succeeds in convincing Hubert to move to Anfield, the Reds would allow the keeper to stay with Liege for the remainder of the Season before moving to Merseyside. Hubert is a future goalkeeper with lots of prospects in the game for the future.
