Marquinhos is becoming increasingly unsettled at Paris Saint Germain. The young defender continues to find himself frozen out from playing his preferred position at centre half.
Marquinhos attracted offers from Chelsea and Manchester United in the final days of the summer market and is also interesting Barcelona. The Brazilian is now weighing up whether to force a move away in January. The 21 years old Brazilian joined the French giants Paris St. Germain from Italian outfit AS Roma for £27 Million pounds on a 5 year deal in 2013 after just joining Roma from Brazilian club Corinthians a year earlier.
Marquinhos played 32 times for the Parisians in his debut season; coring 5 times then in his second season with the Parc des Prince outfits, he played in 42 matches; scoring twice. This season he has featured 11 times in all competition making 9 ligue 1 appearances with just 6 starts and coming off the bench on 3 occasions.
Marquinhos is finding it hard to start at the centre half for Paris St. Germain because of the ever presence of his fellow countrymen; Thiago Silva and David Luis. Marquinhos would be a regular for the Red Devils if he finally hands in a transfer request and move to Manchester United, as United only have Chris Smalling as the only regular starter. With his aerial ability and cool composure on the ball coupled with his physicality; Marquinhos would thrive in the Premier league.
