Zlatan Ibrahimovic has refused to rule out a transfer to Arsenal as speculation mounts over his future at Paris St. Germain.
The Swedish striker’s contract at the Parc Des Prince ends in the summer and his immediate future is still unclear.
The paper says Ibrahimovic is keen on a transfer to the Premier League and Arsenal are his favoured destination. Arsenal Boss, Arsene Wenger is interested in a deal when the 33 years old contract expires at the end of this season with the Parisians. The Swedish goal machine would be a free agent at the end of this season, making him one of the most prolific free agents ever in the history of football and in recent times.
Zlatan has been a league winner with every club he’s played for, from Malmo in Sweden to Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Barcelona and PSG he’s being a winner. Now 33 years of age, Arsene Wenger would be having a real genius in his hands if he eventually signs Zlatan.
But the Swedish international’s ego is something that could pose a disturbing scene at the Gunners dressing room plus his huge wage demands.
Arsenal currently pay Mesut Ozil £140,000-a-week and he is the highest paid in the Arsenal ranks, Ibrahimovic commands a staggering wage of over £200,000-a-week, something that may make this deal not see the light of day.
