Chelsea are keen to make a move for England striker Harry Kane next summer, according to reports.
The blues are prepared to do whatever they can to land the England international next season should Diego Costa leave Stamford bridge.
Costa, who was an all important member of the blues squad last season as they went on to lift the Barclays Premier league trophy has struggled to reach the same heights this term.
The blues are currently struggling to score goals and the striker’s form has been a contributing factor to that. The Spaniard looks disinterested in recent weeks and his movement on the pitch is so poor which resulted to an heated argument between Mourinho and the striker on Tuesday when the blues were playing Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The Daily Mail reports that Chelsea will go all out to sign Harry Kane next summer and the blues are ready to spend big on the English man should Tottenham indicates any interest to sell the striker.
Kane has been in superb form for Tottenham since breaking into the first team at the beginning of last season and the North London club are adamant they won’t sell the 22 year old and showed their intent on keeping their striker by rejecting Manchester United’s approach for the striker last summer.
Chelsea wants to add more English players to their squad and will continue monitoring the 22 year old’s situation at White Hart Lane.
Bayern Munich are also monitoring the stiker as the Germans have also been impressed by his performances for mauricio Pochettino.
Chelsea will take a closer look at the striker when they travel to Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.
