Manchester United have joined the scramble for Fulham super kid Moussa Dembele.
The teen is off contract in June and courting interest from German side Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Tottenham and Everton.
United scouts are regular attendees at Fulham games this season to check on Dembele’s progress. A bid in January is now being discussed at Carrington.
The youngster who shares the same name and Surname with Tottenham’s Belgium international who was incidentally a former player for Fulham was scouted by former United Coach; David Moyes when Dembele featured against the Red devils U21 team in a match that ended 2-2 with the French international on target.
Dembele was signed by Fulham from French side Paris St. Germain academy in 2012 for £284,000; this was the maximum amount payable under FIFA rules for international transfers involving academy players. Dembele is a member of the French youth team and he is widely regarded as his country’s best in his age group and has been compared with Ivorian great; Didier Drogba.
United have held long interest for the youngster since David Moyes’s reign but Louis Van Gaal is ready to bring the talented youngster from Craven Cottage to the Theatre of Dreams, but first; they will have to out-bid German Champions Bayern Munich
