Former Manchester United defender Chris Casper is being linked with a return to the club.
The Daily Star Sunday says United could hand an academy coaching role to the 40 years old. The former Red Devils defender and Bury Boss currently work for the Premier League as a club support manager.
Casper was part of the class of 92, but injury cut short a potentially brilliant career. Casper was a central defender in the United class of 92, he made his league debut as a substitute at White Hart Lane in a 2-1 victory for Manchester United on January 12th 1997 aged 21. He was transferred to Reading for £300,000 for whom he played 39 league games for.
Chris Casper would join Phil Neville, now an assistant coach at Valencia after being an Assistant to David Moyes at Man Utd, Ryan Giggs is now the assistant to Dutch man Louis Van Gaal after briefly taking over the reign at Old Trafford when David Moyes was fired, Nicky Butt is currently an interim first team coach at United so Chris Casper would be among the growing number of coaches emerging from the class of 92.
