Boca Juniors are willing to sell Jonathan Calleri when the European winter transfer window opens in January.
The Young striker is attracting plenty of interest from clubs in Europe with Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City reportedly interested in the striker.
Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici spoke to La Nacion:
“Today there is only speculation.
“In December, we will sell.
“Although it is currently only talk about him. But there is heavy interest – and we will not stop him from developing and taking the next step in his career.”
The blues are reportedly preparing a January bid for the striker, the stiker has been monitored by Chelsea scouts in South America and the blues rate the striker so high. He is considered as one of the best young talents coming out of South America.
Stoke City and Inter Milan were interested in signing the striker last summer but a move failed to materialize.
Championship club also reportedly failed to sign the young striker having tabled a €10million bid last month which was swiftly rejected by Boca Junior.
Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on bringing in a striker in the January transfer window as the West London club are prepared to cut short the loan spell of Radamel Falcao.
