Dundee United starlet Josh Donaldson has joined the Gunners for trial ahead of a potential switch in January.
The young goalkeeper is currently with Scottish club Dundee United but he has been given permission to train with Arsenal so as to give Arsene Wenger’s men the opportunity to watch him closely.
The goalkeeper is also attracting interest from Manchester United and Leicester city and has also trained with hearts and Rangers.
The goalkeeper was currently left out of the Scottish under 16 team recently but his stock continues to rice as Scottish giants and Premier league giants are keen on the goalkeeper.
The goal keeper produced a wonderful performance on his debut for the Scottish Under 15 side and has since then big clubs have been watching him closely.
Should Arsenal finalise a deal for the 15 year old, the London club will have to pay Dundee united a compensation fee.
In similar fashion, Arsenal signed current goalkeeper Wojciech Szczeny at an early age in 2006 and the polish goalkeeper passed through the teams youth rank to become the team’s first choice goalkeeper, however due to the arrival of Petr Cech, the Polish joined Roma on loan but he is still highly regarded at the Emirates.
Donaldson will site Szczeny as his model should he arrive at the Emirates.
