Manchester United are looking to sign Southampton striker Graziano Pelle in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Italian International has a goal ratio of 1 goal in every 2 games so far this season, meaning that he has scored 6 goals in 12 Premier League appearances so far this season, with two of the goals coming against United when the Red devils visited St. Mary; United won 2-3.
Pelle, 30, is already a proven goal scorer in the Premier league, with United looking to add more firepower to their squad; Pelle would be a good addition, although his age could be a major concern as he is already 30 and would be a short term solution to the striker crisis in United’s rank.
The Italian international is contracted to Southampton till the summer of 2017 but has already admitted of missing his home land, this is a clear indication that his exit from Southampton would mean a move to Italy with Juventus said to be interested in the striker.
United have already acquired the services of Southampton pairs in Luke Shaw and Morgan Schneiderlin and are said to be planning an improved bid for Saido Mane and now Graziano Pelle in the January transfer window.
Pelle is very good in the air and can also strike with his feet, he would be a good acquisition for the Red devils if they could secure a deal for the player
