Manchester United coach Louis Van Gaal has reiterated his desire to bring in more wide players in the January Transfer window.
United spent heavily to bring in Dutch international winger; Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven last summer but the 21 years old has found it hard to replace the departed Angel Di-Maria or the great wingers that has dawned the famous jerseys in the past.
Antonio Valencia is very fast but these days he is preferred at the right back rather than play from the right hand side of the attack, Ashley young look s to spark into form toward the tail end of last season and was becoming an integral part to Van Gaal’s team; this season though he has been deployed at the left back position and recently at the right back position in place of the injured duo of Antonio Valencia and Mateo Darmien.
Louis Van Gaal has been linked with Southampton Senegalese international Saido Mane, LVG sees Mane as the kind of player that can help boost his team attacking options and create chances for the striker as he has being going so far this season. Riyad Mahrez is another player in Van Gaal’s radar; Mahrez has already light up the Premier league this season with his goals and creativity. He has 7 goals so far this season while assisting in Leicester City’s 7 other goal.
United though have Jesse Lingard in their pay roll and he has been doing pretty well. The 22 years old got the first goal in United’s mid-week win over Westbrom; he is looking like a very vital addition to the squad and has somehow managed to win his way into the first team.
