The 4-5-1 formation has served Tony Pulis well away from home this season and would seem likely to be retained for the visit to Old Trafford.
That would see Saido Berahino handed a starting role on the left of midfield, with Salomon Rondon playing as the lone striker. James Morrison made his comeback off the bench against Leicester last time out, and could start alongside Darren Fletcher and Claudio Yacob in midfield, with Craig Gardner the main alternative option.
It looks a shoot-out between James McClean and Stephane Sessegnon for the starting berth on the right, with the latter perhaps earning his fourth straight start.
Chris Brunt is a slight doubt with a minor knock, so McClean could even shift to left-back with Jonas Olsson also an option.
Regular starters Jonny Evans, Gareth McAuley and Craig Dawson should complete the rest of the back four, with James Chester providing cover.
Ben Foster remains the Baggies only long-term absentee.
Having said this, here is how Pulis is expected to lineup his side against Man Utd.
