Manchester United have reportedly made contact with Antoinne Greizmann’s agent. The Old Trafford side has made the first move to sign the forward from Atletico Madrid.
AS reports that Manchester United has already made contact with the French international’s agent. Louis Van Gaal wants to be kept updated by the winger’s situation.
The Old Trafford club have plenty rivals for the player’s signature with Chelsea and Barcelona also interested in the player.
Van Gaal see Greizmann as the ideal man to improve his attacking options. Louis Van Gaal recently commented: “I have said we need creative, speedy players in attack.
“And you have seen which players I have bought. It is like that profile, but we need more.”
Chelsea had been seriously linked with a move for the French forward last summer but a deal failed to materialize as the Spanish club were keen on keeping the 24 year old. It was reported that Chelsea had a £42 million pounds bid plus Mohammed Salah rejected for the French forward.
Chelsea are willing to return for the Atletico Madrid Player in January but the blues will be rivaled for the forward signature. Roman Abramovich is keen to bring the forward to Stamford Bridge.
The blues are having a tough time this season, they sit 15th place on the log table and 11 points behind league leader’s Manchester City.
Greizmann joined Atletico Madrid in 2014 and has scored 26 goals in 45 games.
